A Calgary restaurant received a written warning from Alberta Health Services to better enforce physical distancing rules last week.

In an order of an executive officer published on AHS’s website, the owner of Mazaj Lounge and Restaurant located at 9223 Macleod Trail SW was warned about having eight patrons seated together at a table, and for allowing patrons to dance in the bar area.

The notice requires the restaurant to remove its dance floor area and block off that space, and to rearrange tables to provide at least 2 metres of space between patrons.

Two more Calgary schools now at outbreak status

No new Calgary schools reported COVID-19 cases on Thursday, but two schools have moved from having a single case to outbreak status.

Clarence Sansom School and St. Benedict School now have reported between 2 and 4 cases.

The numbers come from student advocacy group Support our Students’s webpage. Across Alberta they are reporting  137 schools that have seen at least one case, with 31 of those having enough for an outbreak, and four with five or more cases.
